Bellingham girls' tennis returns home, earns 7-0 win over Burlington-Edison


The Bellingham girls' tennis team returned to its home court and earned a 7-0 sweep against Burlington-Edison in a Northwest Conference match Wednesday, April 23, in Bellingham.

The Red Raiders' last home match was March 26, Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said.

"I thought this was one of our best matches as a team," Chronister said in a phone interview. "I thought we played well at every spot."

The win was Bellingham's 10th in its last 11 matches.

The Red Raiders (10-2, 3-1 NWC) are back on the road next and travel to play Lynden at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 28.
