Music, micro-brews benefit Max Higbee Center April 26

Join local and regional brewers for April Brews Day as they share their microbrews in a fundraiser for The Max Higbee Center, a nonprofit agency that provides recreational opportunities for teens and adults with developmental disabilities, 6:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Depot Market Square, 1100 Railroad Ave.

Admission includes a collectable tasting glass and scrip for tasting micro-brews, plus music by Moongrass and Tear Jerkers, as well as food available for purchase from Bellingham food trucks.

General admission is $20 in advance (tickets available at Community Food Co-op, Village Books, Chuckanut Brewery, Kulshan Brewery, Boundary Bay Brewery and Maggie's Pub); $25 at the door; and $40 for VIP tickets (doors for VIP guests open at 5:30 p.m.)
