Rusnak wins 2 events at LC's home invite

Nathan Rusnak won two events and led the Lynden Christian boys' track and field team in its home invitational Tuesday, April 22, at Lynden Christian High School.

Rusnak won the 100 in 11.75 seconds, and the pole vault with a height of 11 feet, 6 inches.

The Lyncs won every field event except the javelin. Andrew Vander Mey won the long jump (17-01), Stephen Cummins took the triple jump (38-03), Joe Kooiman won the shot put (42-07) and Cody Spoelstra was the winner in the discus (142-09).

Josh Lingbloom won the 1600 for the Lyncs with a time of 5:01.85.

Lynden Christian will participate in the Northwest Conference Championships on Friday, April 25, at Civic Stadium.
