Sehome girls' tennis rolls past Blaine


Sehome's girls' tennis doubles teams only dropped two sets and Sehome earned a 7-0 win over Blaine on Monday, April 21, at Blaine.

Sehome's Andrea Clawson defeated Alex Henderson 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles' matchup.

"I think for the whole team, we won more games than the first time we played Sehome," Blaine coach John Freal said in a phone interview.

Blaine's Gretchen Kordas and Lily Olason were the only doubles team to win point in their 6-0, 6-2 loss to Natalie Knops and Emily Webster.

Sehome's next match is at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Anacortes. Blaine hosts Lynden at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at home.
