Lions hold off Mountaineers

Lynden's baseball team scored two runs in the first inning and fended off Mount Baker for a 6-2 win in a Northwest Conference game on Monday, April 21, at Lynden.

Jordan Wittenberg and Christian Mouat hit back-to-back singles and then executed a double steal to get runners on second and third. Back-to-back groundouts drove in Mouat and Wittenberg to get started.
