Coston places 3rd at Senior PGA Professional National Championship


Semiahmoo Golf Resort's PGA professional Jeff Coston tied for third at the Senior PGA Professional National Championship on Friday, April 18, in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Coston, who won the event in 2006, shot a 72 in the first round and a 74 in the second round before heating up in the third and fourth rounds. He shot a 68 on day three and closed with a 69 to finish third.

With the third-place finish, Coston qualifies for the Senior PGA Championship on May 22 at Harbor Shore in Michigan.

Coston is a resident golf instructor, operating Jeff Coston Academy, at Semiahmoo Golf Resort.
