Free Key Productions presents a staged reading of "The Guest," a new work written by Bellingham playwright Fergus MacRoich and directed by Christopher Key, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Bellingham Children's Theatre, 1412 Cornwall Ave.

"The Guest" is a searing portrait of a dysfunctional family dealing with issues ranging from spousal abuse to homosexuality to transgender. The audience is encouraged to provide feedback to the playwright, director and actors after the performance.
