Free talk on heart disease Thursday in Bellingham


BELLINGHAM - A free public talk on "Cardiovascular Disease - Signs, Risks and Prevention" will be presented from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Adult Day Health Center at 809 E. Chestnut St.

Due to space limitations, advance registration is required by Tuesday. Call 360-788-6410 to reserve a space.

Daniel D'Amour, manager of PeaceHealth St. Joseph's cardiac and stroke program, will explain the signs of heart attack and stroke, and strategies to reduce cardiovascular risks.

PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center is hosting the talk as part of its "Facing the Challenges of Aging" lecture series.
