Banquet helps fund Ducks Unlimited work

The Tacoma Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will hold its annual banquet and fundraiser April 25.

Proceeds from the event allow the local chapter and national organization work on habitat projects, educational efforts and more.

“Your attendance will help us continue our conservation mission in working to fill the skies with waterfowl today, tomorrow and forever,” said Scott Knox, one of the event organizers. “This is a chance to join other people just like yourself for a good time with a great cause.”

Each ticket includes admission to the event and a one-year membership to Ducks Unlimited.

The event will be at the Tacorna Yacht Club, 5401 N. Waterfront Drive, Tacoma. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with cocktails at 5:30, dinner at 7 and the auction after the meal.

Reduced ticket prices are available through Tuesday. They are $60 single, $90 couple, $40 Greenwing (child), $280 sponsor, $310 sponsor couple or $500 corporate table.

Regular prices are $70 single, $100 couple, $50 Greenwing, $290 sponsor, $330 sponsor couple and $600 corporate table.
