Whatcom County Transition Fair to help students with disabilities

BELLINGHAM - Students with disabilities and their families can attend the Whatcom County Transition Fair on Thursday, April 17, to learn about resources available for them in the community.

The fair is free and will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Luke's Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway.

Middle and high school students with developmental or other disabilities are encouraged to attend with their families, as well as educators and interested community members. The fair will include information from organizations and agencies that focus on employment, education, recreation, housing options, health and support services.
