Lummi Island ferry will be out of service April 30

Whatcom Chief, the vehicle ferry that serves Lummi Island, will be out of service from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, for inspection and maintenance, according to the Whatcom County Public Works Department.

The last morning run from Goosberry Point will be at 10:10 a.m.; the last morning run from Lummi Island will be at 10:20 a.m.

The inspection and maintenance work is weather-dependent, so the date and times may change if necessary. Details: 360-715-7450.
