Concerned about clean lake water

Reguarding the problem with Lake Whatcom and Whatcom County's drinking water: Coming from someone who has lived their entire life in Bellingham, I never realized until recently the damage the lake has seen. It's appalling to see that more measures haven't gone to fix our drinking water. Seriously, the only source of "clean" water this county gets is from the lake, the only thing we truly need to survive is not being taken care of. I'm glad you took the time to at least make more citizens aware of this problem. But the mentality we have in this town has always been if it isn't broken don't fix it. This has to change. But where do we start?
