Arneson wins medalist as Lynden wins at Homestead


Ezra Arneson captured medalist honors and led the Lynden boys' golf team to a win on Thursday, April 10, at Homestead Golf Course.

Arneson shot a 73 as the Lions scored 422 as a team. Sedro-Woolley was second with 434, followed by Burlington-Edison (442), Sehome (466), Lynden Christian (506), Anacortes (535) and Blaine (542).

"Ezra was 1-over par, a pretty good score for that course," Lynden coach Russ Dorr said in a phone interview.

Thomas Mankle shot an 84 to lead the Mariners. Lincoln Olson's 84 was first for the Lyncs.

Devan Boucher shot a 78 for the Borderites.
