BELLINGHAM - A new law firm that offers a wide variety of services, including LGBT legal matters, recently opened.

Emily Rose Mowrey started Next Generation Legal Services PLLC in the Hardware Building in downtown Bellingham, near Goat Mountain Pizza.

Mowrey said in a news release that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender legal matters are not being adequately served in Whatcom County, so she has made it a focus of her firm. The law firm also offers services in a variety of other civil matters, including business formation and management, estate planning, real estate law, probate and bankruptcy.

Next Generation Legal Services is also making use of the latest technology to make things easier for clients, according to the news release. This includes secure online access on cases and streamlined communications.
