Ferndale seeking kids' input on playground design

FERNDALE - The city will unveil its major playground project design and take ideas from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Ferndale High School's cafeteria.

The playground design will be based on ideas from local children in kindergarten to fifth grade who can share their ideas with city staff and a playground designer at the event.

The project is called the STAR Park and will be part of Pioneer Park.
