Rave: Lost purse recovered in Bellingham

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDApril 7, 2014

After shopping and loading groceries in my car on Monday, I left my big yellow purse in the grocery cart outside on the side of Fred Meyers parking lot. Drove all the way home. Over an half an hour later realized I left it. Called Fred Meyers in a panic and someone had turned it in right away to customer service.

I’m going to call it a “Bellingham thang.” Thank you, thank you, kind and honest soul who turned the purse back and helped my peace of mind in a difficult time for me right now. I’ve recently been diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer and I head into surgeries this week, which has had my mind distracted. In my purse was my medications, medical documents and many life necessities.
