Meeting to address Lowell Elementary School remodel designs

BELLINGHAM - People interested in upcoming renovations at Lowell Elementary School can attend a design meeting from at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 7, in the school's library, 935 14th St.

The district is using money from its 2013 bond to build a new gym, cafeteria and classrooms for the school, as well as add an elevator. An advisory group has started working with architects on the project design.

The advisory group and the architects will share the scope of the project and the preliminary design studies at the meeting, which is open to Lowell families and community members.
