State lawmakers Lytton, Morris open new office in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM - State representatives for the city's south side may hail from Skagit County, but they have a presence in Bellingham with a new district office on the third floor of the Herald Building, 1155 N. State St.

Staffers for Rep. Jeff Morris, D-Mount Vernon, and Rep. Kristine Lytton, D-Anacortes, are in the office 40 hours a week. Morris and Lytton will be there to talk to constituents at an open house, 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in Suite 306. Refreshments will be served.

Visitor parking is available in the lot across from the Herald Building, at the corner of Chestnut and North State streets.

Morris' legislative assistant, Tara Nelson, and Ethan Gill, who assistants Lytton, will keep office hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The mailing address for the office is 1155 N. State Street, No. 306, Bellingham, WA 98225.
