TAG executive director takes position at Bellingham firm

BELLINGHAM - The Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington announced that Sommer Cronck, the current executive director, has accepted a position as chief operating officer at a Bellingham company.

Cronck will be going to Red Rokk, a digital media marketing firm. Her start date with Red Rokk will be May 1.

"The entire TAG organization would like to sincerely congratulate and thank Sommer for the time she has spent with TAG, and the many changes and improvements she has made to our organization," Mark Knittel, owner of Ovation Technical Services and current board chair for TAG, said in a news release. "Anyone that has worked with Sommer in the two years since she joined TAG knows that she is a very effective and creative executive."

TAG is a nonprofit organization based in Bellingham that was formed to address the needs of the technology industry in Whatcom County.
