The Lynden high school baseball and softball players will host a joint clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, for players in kindergarten to 6th grade.
Cost is $20 and participants get a T-shirt, lunch and door prizes.
The clinic is on the baseball and softball fields and at Curt Maberry Field House. If weather is poor, it will also be at Jake Maberry Gym.
SEHOME-BELLINGHAM LACROSSE BEATS PROVIDENCE
The Sehome-Bellingham lacrosse team secured its third boys high school lacrosse win of the spring with a 17-10 victory over Providence Classical Christian School on Friday, March 28, at Lynnwood High School.
Providence had three-goal performances from three players but was unable to catch a fast start by the combined Sehome and Bellingham high school squad.
Sehome-Bellingham (3-1-0) next faces Everett (3-1-0) on Wednesday, April 9 in a 7 p.m. start at Kasch Park in Everett.
LYNDEN DROPS PROVIDENCE 11-9 IN BOYS LACROSSE
Lynden High School powered to its first boys lacrosse win of the spring with an 11-9 defeat of Providence Classical Christian School at the Woodinville Sports Complex.
Lynden (1-1-0) next faces Sehome-Bellingham (2-0-0), Friday, April 11 in an 8 p.m. start at Civic Stadium.
MOORE HAS HOLE IN ONE
Patti Moore of Bremerton had a hole in one at Raspberry Ridge Golf Course on Thursday, which happened to be her birthday.
Moore used a 7-wood on the 140-yard, par-3 No. 9 hole.
