Info session for potential Lynden fire volunteers is April 1


LYNDEN - The Lynden Fire Department is holding an information session Tuesday, April 1, on becoming a volunteer firefighter.

The event runs 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lynden City Hall Annex, 205 4th St.

The number of volunteers has dropped, and the department is looking for more.

Getting an application before the April 1 session would be ideal, a fire department representative said.
