THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMarch 29, 2014

BELLINGHAM - After a hard-fought battle of wits at the Whatcom Literacy Council's 18th annual Trivia Bee, the first place Totten Trophy went to "The Foreign Legion IV: Breaking Dawn."

The team, from Adelstein, Sharpe and Serka, clinched the law firm's fourth consecutive Trivia Bee title, following wins in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Second place went to "The Three Omegas" from Barlean's Organic Oils, and third place went to the Phillips66 team, "Highly Refined."

Ken Jennings of "Jeopardy!" fame and Scotty VanDryver of KAFE radio hosted the event.

Proceeds from the bee and silent auction support the literacy council's ongoing programming to combat illiteracy in Whatcom County.
