WWU Bragg helps West to 121-109 victory at DII College All-Star Game


Western Washington University center Austin Bragg tied for game-high honors with 10 rebounds and scored six points in helping the West beat the East, 121-109, at the 2014 Reese's Division II College Men's Basketball All-Star Game on Friday at the Ford Center.

The 6-foot-9 Bragg, who played 19 minutes, made 3 of 5 field goals.

The West, which led 59-52 at halftime, had a 48-37 rebound advantage, shooting 58.3 percent (49 of 84) from the floor and hitting 16 of 32 3-pointers.

Central Washington's Mark McLaughlin, also playing for the West, tied for game-high scoring honors with 20 points and had a game-high four assists. He was 8 of 12 from the field, connecting on 3 of 4 3-pointers.
