Ferndale's softball team cruised past Oak Harbor 15-2 in four innings on Wednesday, March 26, at Ferndale High School.

The Golden Eagles were able to get multiple players experience in the win.

"We were able to get on base," Ferndale coach Holly Hilton said in a phone interview. "Everyone was able to hit for the most part and get some experience. It was a good game."

Dana Ebe hit a home run in the game while contributing two RBI.

Erika Ebe got the win in the circle, going all four innings and striking out three.

"Once she got going and got established, she was able to get us the outs we needed," Hilton said. "When the ball was put in play, we were able to make plays."

Ferndale faces Anacortes on Thursday, March 27, at Daniels Field.
