Two grand pianos. Two incomparable pianists. Two classical masterpieces. One must-see concert.

Mount Baker Theatre will feature not one, but two pianos with a full symphony orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30. Performing with Whatcom Symphony Orchestra are Bellingham's Dan and Victoria Sabo, in two great works for duo piano and orchestra: the electrifying "Concerto for Two Pianos" by Poulenc and the charming "Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saëns.

To round out the all-French program, maestro Yaniv Attar and the orchestra will perform a Berlioz overture, plus Debussy's colorful tone-poem "La Mer."

A free pre-concert lecture by Ed Rutschman will take place at the theater at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 to $35. With the purchase of an adult ticket, you can get a free ticket good for youths 12 to 17.
