Sehome overcomes five errors in win

Jake Albert and Sehome's baseball team battled through five errors to get a 5-2 win over Squalicum on Monday, March 24, at Sehome High School.

Albert got the win, striking out three while allowing only one walk in seven innings.

"He had a super game," Sehome coach Gary Hatch said in a phone interview. "He kept getting out of jams, he pitched effectively. He had good command of his pitches."

The man on the mound for Squalicum wasn't too bad either. Harper Moore had a no-hitter through four innings and had four strikeouts on the day.

"Moore did a pretty good job," Hatch said. "He pitched well."

Sehome faces Lynden on Wednesday, March 26, on the road. Squalicum plays Anacortes on Wednesday at Joe Martin Field.
