Bellingham's girls' tennis team swept South Whidbey on Saturday, March 22, at South Whidbey High School. The Red Raiders won every match in straight sets.

Kira Vazorka defeated Amelia Weeks 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 1 singles' match and impressed Bellingham coach Steve Chronister with her performance.

"She was firing on all cylinders. Everything she did was right," Chronister said in a phone interview. "It was her best outing so far this year. She's always a hard worker and knows how to play."

The Bellingham doubles team of Tess Owen and Kari Brauner had the most dominant win of the day, topping the Falcons' Brea Gauger and Kendra Warwick 6-1, 6-0.
