Bellingham-area volunteers needed to pack meals for needy children

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMarch 20, 2014

BELLINGHAM - Volunteers are still needed Saturday, April 12, to help pack more than 100,000 meals for charity.

Packers are needed for two-hour shifts, starting at either 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. They will pack meals that will be sent to orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs in other countries as part of the Christian nonprofit Feed My Starving Children.

The packing will take place at Birchwood Presbyterian Church, 400 Meadowbrook Court, off Cordata Parkway.

To sign up or learn more, go to volunteer.fmsc.org, click on the Mobilepack box and scroll down to find the Bellingham event.
