Squalicum boys' track opens with loss

The Squalicum boys' track and field team won six events but lost to Burlington-Edison 81-60 on Wednesday, March 19, in Burlington.

The Storm had wins from Kobe Clark in the 100 (12.57 seconds), Dillon Rinauro in the 800 (2:09.90), Justin Rinauro in the 1,600 (4:47.26), Hunter Hanlon in the 110 hurdles (15.94), Joel Jensen in the shot put (45 feet, 5 inches) and had a win from its 4x100 relay team in a time of 47.45.

The Storm is next at the Bedlington Track Meet in Lynden on Friday, March 21.
