Larrabee Elementary to host history night Thursday

BELLINGHAM - Students of Larrabee Elementary School past and present can attend a history and story night for the school Thursday, March 20.

The school will host a "Then and Now" night from 6:30 to 8 p.m., open to families, past and present students and staff, neighbors and community members.

The event will include tours of Larrabee and a chance to look at old photos of the school, which dates back 124 years. The school will close this June.

Those who attend are invited to share stories about the school and bring pictures and school artifacts to be included in a history that will be stored at the Washington State Archives.
