Mount Baker Theatre and the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention jointly present an "Electrifying Weekend" Saturday and Sunday, March 22 and 23.

On Saturday, the museum at 1312 Bay St. presents The Megazapper at 1 and 2:30 p.m. The show features one of the largest Tesla coil "lightning machines" in the country. Tickets, $10 general, $7 for kids 11 and younger, are at 360-738-3886 and the door.

At 3 p.m. Sunday at Mount Baker, Lightwire Theater combines optical illusion with cutting-edge technology to produce an innovative theatrical experience. In their black bodysuits, lined in electroluminescent wire, 60 ballet and Broadway-trained dancers become invisible on the darkened stage, their glow lights morphing into fantastical flowers, warrior felines and more.

Tickets are $17 to $34. Students can buy half-price tickets starting one hour prior to the performance. Tickets: 360-734-6080.

All three performances are making available a family four-pack (buy three tickets, get one free).
