Supports raising minimum wage

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMarch 14, 2014

I read with interest the recent letter which stated prices would rise with an increased minimum wage. If a McDonalds restaurant worker with a family needs food stamps to have enough food to eat, my taxes pay part of those food stamps. Connect the dots. I do not eat at McDonalds, yet I, and you, are thereby subsidizing McDonalds customers. Why should we? Raise the minimum wage? Absolutely.
