Unhappy with pay for executive


I nearly choked when I read about Ford Motor Company's lavish rewards for CEO Alan Mulally: $13.8 million in stock, for performance in 2013, $303 million in total compensation since 2006, etc. etc. That would seem to clearly put him in the top 1 percent.

How did he earn all this bounty? Among other things, he closed factories and cut workers.

I thought the 1 percenters were supposed to be the job creators. Why does something not seem to add up here? Could that whole thing be nothing more than a myth? I'm sure someone can explain this to me.
