BELLINGHAM - A talk about cyberbullying has received so much community interest that it will be available online and broadcast live Wednesday, March 12.

Western Washington University psychology professor David Sattler will talk about how to keep children safe from cyberbullying in a free presentation at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Bellingham City Council chambers, 210 Lottie St.

Sattler will talk about recent research about bullying, social media awareness and the challenges of parental supervision in a world where every cellphone has access to the Internet and all the risks that come with it.

Seating at the event is limited. Those who can't make it can watch the talk live on BTV10 (Comcast channel 10 in Bellingham) or go online to cob.org/services/education/btv10/live-stream.aspx.
