Ski to Sea seeks volunteers

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMarch 11, 2014

Ski to Sea officials need to recruit more than 600 volunteers for the Ski to Sea race, which will take place on Sunday, May 25.

Ski to Sea is using a new online system, VolunteerSpot.com, to organize volunteers for this year's race.

Volunteers will be able to see the specific dates and times for when and where help is needed.

Individuals interested in volunteering can visit skitosea.com, click the Volunteer tab and then sign up using the VolunteerSpot button.

For questions or more information, contact Kellie Zulauf at Volunteer@SkiToSea.com or at 360-746-8861.

The volunteer areas, before and after the race, include assistance with distributing marketing material, preparing racer packets, assistance with equipment, help at each race leg, and take down.

All volunteers will receive an official 2014 Ski to Sea T-shirt and lunch for their participation. In addition there will be a Volunteer Appreciation Barbecue a week before the race. The first 100 volunteers to show up receive a free Ski to Sea 2014 beer glass.
