Each session begins at 7 p.m. and usually lasts until about 8:30. Future sessions will be May 12 and June 9.

The seminar costs $5 per person. You can register online at mountaineers.org by searching for “Introduction to Hiking,” or you can pay at the door. Plan to arrive no later than 6:45 p.m. with exact change or a check made out to The Tacoma Mountaineers.

The seminar will be at The Tacoma Mountaineers Program Center, 2302 N. 30th St., Tacoma.
