Whatcom County libraries offer free Microsoft tech training online

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDMarch 6, 2014

Whatcom County residents can receive free, online technology training for Microsoft products through public and college libraries.

The Microsoft IT Academy, as it's called, offers online courses in technology, including basic computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other popular Microsoft programs.

The sessions are offered through Bellingham Public Library, Bellingham Technical College, Whatcom Community College and Whatcom County Library System. It's part of a larger partnership between Washington State Library, academic libraries and Microsoft to provide the academy to residents statewide.

Connect to the courses by going online to yourlibraries.org/itacademy.htm.
