The Los Angeles-based rock-instrumental duo El Ten Eleven brings its unique sound to Bellingham on Saturday, March 8, at the Wild Buffalo, 208 W. Holly St.

The band features Kristin Dunn on the fretless bass and double-neck guitar and Tim Fogarty on drums.

El Ten Eleven creates music that has a texture-like feel with multiple layers created through Dunn's extensive floorboard full of looping devices and pedal effects. He plays his music live, records it, loops it and then layers each portion into the songs that create amazing melodies.

The duo has released six albums and recently released a three-track album, "For Emily EP," available through their website and Bandcamp.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door. The show starts at 9:30 p.m.
