Help for veterans offered Saturday in Ferndale

FERNDALE - Veterans wanting help with learning about benefits they are eligible for, signing up for Veterans Administration health care or getting copies of their military discharge papers can attend a free event Saturday, March 8.

The Whatcom County Veteran Navigator Program will help veterans and their families from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ferndale library, 2007 Cherry St.

Bring your military discharge document if you have it.

Similar events are planned for April 19 at the Lynden library, May 17 at the Everson library and June 7 at the North Fork branch in Kendall.
