Three WWU athletes don't better marks


Three Western Washington University athletes were unable to better their marks at the Seattle Pacific University Final Qualifier Indoor Track and Field meet held Saturday at Dempsey Indoor on the University of Washington campus.

The meet was the last chance to improve performances in order to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Indoor Championships on March 14-15.

Brett Watson and Logan Myers placed 1-2 in the men's high jump, Watson clearing 6-9 and Myers 6-7.

Cheyenna Pinley finished seventh in the women's pole vault at 12-1/2.
