App helps find Girl Scout cookie locations around Whatcom County

THE BELLINGHAM HERALDFebruary 28, 2014

The Girl Scouts and their cookies are back again, and there's a new smartphone app to find out where they're selling Thin Mints and the other famous goodies.

This year local scouts will sell Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils and Savannah Smiles, which are lemon-flavored wedge cookies dusted with powdered sugar.

With the mobile phone app, users can enter a zip code and find all nearby dates, times and locations where the Girl Scouts will be selling cookies. Download the app through an app store or visit the cookie locator online at cookielocator.littlebrownie.com.

The scouts will be selling cookies until March 16 in front of several grocery stores and many other businesses around Whatcom County.
