B y the numbers That is the number of hours an eight-person AmeriCorps crew has worked during the last month at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park. The group of 18- to 24-year-olds spent 21 days working at the park, completing 23 projects. Most of the work was done behind the scenes, doing exhibit renovation, fence maintenance and repair, removing invasive plants, reclaiming road edges in the free-roaming area and repairing a rock wall. The crew came from seven states: Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Oregon and Pennsylvania.
