Rave: Valentine poem touched reader's heart in Bellingham

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDFebruary 23, 2014

Thank you Lyn Hansen-Blizzard of Blaine for your heart-touching poem "I Remember Love," that was published in the Bellingham Herald's Valentine Poems on Feb. 10, 2014.

Your words connected deeply with me because my husband passed away after a slide down the dementia path. Your words explained what his thought process might have been; and gave me a much better understanding of what he was experiencing. It was enlightening and comforting at the same time.

Yes, it brought tears, but those are an important part of the healing process. Again, I thank you.
