Pickup truck hits mental health clinic in Bellingham, no serious injuries

The driver of a red Toyota Tacoma caused a three-car crash at 3:55 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, before slamming into the wall of Freedman & Associates, a mental health clinic at 2110 Iron St., in Bellingham, according to police. The driver told officers his foot got stuck on the accelerator as he left his driveway. Bellingham firefighters took the truck driver to St. Joseph hospital, but no other injuries were reported, in or outside of the clinic. A damage estimate for the building wasn’t available. PHILIP A.
