Sears to close major Seattle store

A Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification was sent out by the state indicating that Sears was laying off 79 people in Seattle as of June 1.

A story in The Seattle Times (link) indicates Sears is closing the Sodo neighborhood store, which is on 76 S. Lander St., near the West Seattle Bridge.
