North Whatcom legislators to meet constituents in Blaine

BLAINE - Residents of the 42nd Legislative District - north Bellingham, and north and east Whatcom County - can get an update on the legislative session from their senator and representatives on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Sen. Doug Ericksen, R-Ferndale, and Reps. Vincent Buys, and Jason Overstreet, both R-Lynden, will host the town hall from 10 a.m. to noon at the Blaine High School Performing Arts Center, 1055 H St. The lawmakers also will answer questions from the audience.

At this stage of the session, the only non-budget bills that are still alive have passed from their house of origin and are under review by the other house. The session is scheduled to end March 13.
