Bellingham conference for caregivers set for March 21

BELLINGHAM - Registration is open for an annual conference for people who care for another person, whether they are a family member or a professional caregiver.

Topics include ways to reduce stress, improve communication and become better organized. Continuing education credits will be available for some sessions.

The conference will be held March 21 at Christ the King Church, 4173 Guide Meridian. The cost is $25; or $35 for four education credits.

Breakfast and lunch are included with registration, and scholarships and respite care can be requested online. To register, go to ElderServiceProviders.org. Details: 360-715-6563.

The conference is presented by Elder Service Providers, all-volunteer, nonprofit consortium of professionals who provide services to seniors.
