Potter Road bridge closing Wednesday for inspection

VAN ZANDT - The Potter Road bridge over the south fork of the Nooksack River will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 19, for its biennial inspection.

Whatcom County and the Washington State Department of Transportation will inspect the bridge from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., after which the bridge will reopen.

Drivers should expect delays, and flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic away from the bridge.
