The South Sound Estuary Association is holding a workshop to develop ideas for improving its volunteer and education programs.

“The ideas that come out of this workshop will inform and inspire future volunteer opportunities and programs in accordance with the pulse of our volunteers,” said Nate Bernitz, operations manager for the association’s South Sound Estuarium.

Bernitz is encouraging past and present volunteers, as well as people interested in volunteering in the future, to take part.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 in Olympia.
