Supports bill to restrict chemicals

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDFebruary 16, 2014

We and our children are being exposed to more toxic chemicals via so-called safety measures.

I am speaking of chemicals used in fire retardant clothing, upholstery, bedding. I believe fire-retardant chemicals are dangerously toxic, with no alternative chemicals in sight.

House Bill 1294 is moving through our state legislature to place restrictions on the use of these chemicals.

Stop wearing fire retardant clothes and bedding.

Contact your representatives to tell them to vote for passage of the bill.
